Drainage

"Whenever the shape of the land is altered, the movement of water is altered as well. Therefore, thinking about how water moves in and through a site prior to construction is critical in determining how the site plan is going to create new drainage patterns."
Rob Thallon, Stan Jones

In a landscape garden or outdoor room, too much water can be just as detrimental as too little. We use creek beds, French drains, and proper grading of the terrain and hardscape to protect your property from storm-water and snowmelt. Deschutes County requires that post-construction run-off cannot exceed pre-construction run-off. Our drainage techniques ensure compliance with county code in an aesthetically-pleasing way.
